Brad Murphy — Programme Director · Cricket

PROGRAMME DIRECTOR · CRICKET

Brad Murphy

Brad Murphy brings decades of cricket playing, coaching and programme leadership experience. He served on the coaching staff of IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders, worked with the Netherlands senior side, and coached players through Queensland Premier Cricket and representative development environments.

Experience & achievements

  • Former assistant coach, Kolkata Knight Riders (IPL), documented in 2009.
  • Queensland Premier Cricket Men’s First Grade Coach of the Year (2017–18 season).
  • Coaching experience with the NT Cricket under-23 men’s academy, Brisbane Premier Cricket and international squads.
Mitch Larkin, Australian Olympic swimmer

OLYMPIC SWIMMING

Mitch Larkin

Mitch Larkin represented Australia at London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. A leading international backstroke specialist, he won both the 100m and 200m backstroke world titles at Kazan in 2015 and became one of Australia’s most decorated Commonwealth Games swimmers.

Experience & achievements

  • Rio 2016 Olympic silver medal — 200m backstroke; bronze — men’s 4×100m medley relay.
  • 2015 World Championships gold — 100m and 200m backstroke.
  • Five gold medals at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
  • Competed at three Olympic Games: 2012, 2016 and 2020.
Ian Malpass — Tennis Coach

TENNIS COACH

Ian Malpass

Ian Malpass was appointed Head Coach of Anglican Church Grammar School’s GPS tennis programme in 1991 and founded Malpass Tennis in 1998. His coaching organisation has led tennis development at Churchie and operated extensive player pathways from beginners through to ranked competitors.

Experience & achievements

  • Selected as Head Coach of Churchie’s GPS tennis programme in 1991.
  • Founded Malpass Tennis in 1998 and serves as its Director.
  • During the Malpass Tennis tenure, Churchie achieved four GPS tennis premierships and developed state-, national- and world-ranked players.
Lance Reudenco — Cricket Coaching

Lance Reudenco

Lance Roudenko is an experienced cricket development coach who has worked with junior and senior clubs, schools, associations, representative teams and individual players. His international coaching experience includes Sri Lanka, India, England and Bhutan.

  • Former first-grade cricketer and Director/Head Coach of Roudenko Cricket Academy.
  • More than 19 years of specialist cricket coaching experience, as stated by the academy.
  • Coached in Sri Lanka, India, England and Bhutan across school, club and representative pathways.

Lachy Burke

Lachy Burke’s role focuses on using video review and biomechanics-informed observations to support technical development. Areas of emphasis include analysing movement patterns, reviewing skill execution and helping coaches and athletes identify improvement opportunities.
